Explore and analyze firm-wide issues such as staffing, organizational change, information flow, department specific projects/proposals, operating policies and implementation. |

Make recommendations for improvement solutions where necessary, and follow up to ensure smooth functioning of newly implemented procedures. |

Periodically review budget reports and recommend modifications based upon trends affecting the business. |

Regularly review expenditures, complete special projects, establish policies and analyze operating results for potential adjustments. |

Act as internal consultant to management team on a variety of special ad hoc projects. |

Serve as advisor/assistant to senior internal task forces addressing key strategic issues. |

| Education |
| An M.B.A. degree with an emphasis in Finance and Economics or a related, quantitative/analytical field from an accredited, leading business school or university, or other equivalent Advanced Degree as it relates to the position is required. Preference will be given to candidates whose field of study provides exposure to finance/capital markets, and macroeconomics, or whose business experience and knowledge is aligned with the requirements of the position in one or more areas described immediately above. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is required, so candidates must be willing to pursue CFA designation immediately after joining PIMCO. Typically this position requires a Series 7, 63, 3, and other applicable licenses. |

| Experience |
| The ideal candidate will possess expertise in macroeconomics, business cycle analysis, and fixed income markets attained through coursework, individual study and prior work experience. Preference will be given to candidates with extensive experience working with executive-level management. |
