Andrew M. Hoffmann

Mr. Hoffmann is a senior vice president and product manager of investment solutions in the Newport Beach office, and he is also a member of the global wealth management team. Within product management, he is responsible for evaluating illiquid alternative investments, including private equity and real assets, and the development of customized risk-factor-based replication solutions. Within global wealth management, he focuses on building new relationships in the private wealth market in support of PIMCO’s alternative strategies. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2010, he was with the private equity funds group at Brookfield Asset Management, where he helped launch private equity offerings in real estate, infrastructure and natural resources. Mr. Hoffmann was previously the portfolio manager for real assets at an ultra-high net worth investment firm in Palo Alto, California. He has also worked in investment banking in the power, utilities, energy and infrastructure sectors with J.P. Morgan, Merrill Lynch and Salomon Brothers. He has 23 years of investment experience and holds a bachelor of science degree in economics and political science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
