Eric M. Sutherland

Mr. Sutherland is a managing director in the New York office and heads PIMCO's global wealth management advisor sales and key accounts. He is also a member of PIMCO’s Global Wealth Management Operating Committee. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2011, he headed the U.S. advisory distribution group and national accounts teams for wirehouse, regional, bank and RIA distribution at Allianz Global Investors. Previously he was with Nuveen Investments, responsible for all national accounts, key relationships and business development for wirehouses and national and regional broker-dealers. Prior to this he was with Binswanger & Co. and Bankers Trust Company. He has 22 years of investment and financial services experience and holds an undergraduate degree from Bucknell University. He is currently an executive board member of the Money Management Institute and has served on its board for eight years.
