Mr. Johnson is a vice president and account manager in the Newport Beach office and a member of PIMCO's global wealth management team. He is responsible for facilitating the growth of PIMCO’s municipal bond ladder strategies throughout the Schwab system and provides client service to registered investment advisers and family offices. He joined PIMCO in 2001 and has worked with institutional investors and investment consultants. Before joining PIMCO, Mr. Johnson was responsible for mortgage-backed security risk analytics and reporting at Freddie Mac. Previously, he hired and monitored pension fund investment managers at the ICMA Retirement Corporation. He has 23 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. He received his undergraduate degree from Strayer University and the University of Virginia. Mr. Johnson currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Special Olympics Southern California.
