Mr. Louanges is an executive vice president in the Munich office, head of PIMCO’s financial institutions group for EMEA and head of PIMCO's European insurance business. He previously co-headed the Munich portfolio management team, managed European portfolios and was part of the European strategy group. He also served as a managing director on the board of Allianz Global Investors KAG, representing PIMCO's portfolio management. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2000, he worked for PIMCO’s parent company, Allianz, starting in 1998. Mr. Louanges began his career in 1994 at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and Paris in the fixed income sales department and moved to the Caisse Centrale de Réescompte in 1995 to become a portfolio manager. He has 19 years of investment experience and holds a master's degree in finance from the Ecole Supérieure de Gestion in Paris.
