Richard A. Flax
Expert Title Position

Mr. Flax is a senior vice president in the London office and an emerging markets equity analyst. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2011, he worked as an analyst and portfolio manager at Goldman Sachs Asset Management for 10 years. Most recently, he served as co-chair of GSAM's emerging market equity investment committee. Mr. Flax was a co-portfolio manager for GSAM's equity funds investing in Brazil, Russia, India and China since the funds' inception in 2006. He has 17 years of investment and financial services experience and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
