Mr. van Heel is an executive vice president in the Amsterdam office and is responsible for business development in the Netherlands and Belgium. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2001, he headed up relationship management and the client services department at NIB Capital. Before that, he spent five years at Philips Pension Fund as head of fixed income and two years as a portfolio manager for Alrenta N.V (an Amsterdam listed international bond fund of ABN AMRO). He has 23 years of investment experience and holds an undergraduate degree from Hogeschool Brabant.
