Ramin Toloui |

Mr. Toloui is a Senior Vice President on the Emerging Markets Portfolio Management team, with a focus on sovereign credit research and analysis. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2006, Mr. Toloui spent seven years in the international division of the U.S. Department of Treasury, most recently as the Director of the Office of the Western Hemisphere managing a team of macroeconomists and advising senior U.S. Treasury officials on the design and execution of financial policies in Latin America. He previously served as Senior Advisor to Treasury Under Secretary John Taylor during the crises in Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and Turkey in 2001-2003. Mr. Toloui holds a Bachelor’s Degree summa cum laude in Economics from Harvard University and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.
