PIMCO Advisory Hires Rod Dubitsky as Executive Vice President and Global Structured Finance Specialist

NEWPORT BEACH, CA (July 13, 2009)—PIMCO Advisory, a division of PIMCO and a leader in analyzing, designing and managing complex asset-liability solutions, has hired Rod Dubitsky as an Executive Vice President and Global Structured Finance Specialist. Mr. Dubitsky joins PIMCO from Credit Suisse, where he was a Managing Director and Head of Asset Backed Securities (ABS) Research.

“Rod has extensive experience in the ABS market and his addition to our team further strengthens PIMCO Advisory’s unique ability to provide customized analysis and advisory solutions for our clients,” said Richard M. Weil, Managing Director and Global Head of PIMCO Advisory.
 
Professional background of Rod Dubitsky:
Prior to joining PIMCO, Mr. Dubitsky was Managing Director, Head of Asset Backed Securities Research with Credit Suisse, where he served in the lead research role covering bonds backed by various loans including mortgages, credit cards, student loans and auto loans. Prior to that, Mr. Dubitsky was a Vice President and Senior Analyst with Moody’s Investor Services, where he was responsible for analyzing and assigning ratings to mortgage-backed securities. Previously he was an Agency MBS portfolio manager with BankAmerica. Mr. Dubitsky has been recognized by Institutional Investor polls from 2002 to 2008 as a leading ABS and Mortgage-ABS strategist.  He received his MBA from Duke University and B.A. in Economics from State University of New York, Binghamton.
