Account Analyst
Account Analysts serve a dynamic role based on the core responsibility of servicing PIMCO's institutional clients. The analyst's primary responsibility is to support PIMCO's client-servicing professionals to ensure delivery of the highest level of service to our clients. Interns gather, analyze and discuss economic trends, evaluate portfolio structures, and deliver attribution analyses to investment professionals and their clients.
Positions are located in Newport Beach, New York, London, Munich, Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo.

Business Development Support Analyst
The Business Development Support group plays an integral part in the initial sales/marketing process to prospective clients, as well as in the servicing of PIMCO's existing clients and investment consultants worldwide. The BDS team works closely with PIMCO's investment professionals, especially with Product Managers and Account Managers, to provide superior client servicing. BDS summer analyst's primary responsibilities include: completing Requests for Proposals, Request for Information, and questionnaires (general and due diligence), maintaining consultant databases, and various ad hoc requests. The summer analyst's secondary responsibility is managing robust strategy level data, and maintaining firm information that includes: assets under management, accounts gained/lost, investment professional data, and PIMCO's RFP database among other firm specific data.

U.S. Internal Sales Analyst
The primary role of the Internal Sales summer intern within Global Wealth Management at PIMCO is to be a dynamic resource to the team of 70 sales professionals within division(s) of advisory brokerage sales. While executing on sales campaigns, sales research and marketing responsibilities, the summer intern will learn the PIMCO process, products and culture. The internship provides excellent development and training to prepare for a career as an Analyst, Internal Advisor Consultant at PIMCO – a role that includes obtaining FINRA licenses and building and maintaining relationships with Financial Advisor clients.

Product Analyst
Product Analysts work on various aspects of product management including positioning products across PIMCO's global distribution network, vehicle design and construction, and competitor analysis and pricing. This role exposes the analyst to multiple product strategies, while allowing them to work closely with managers to learn how PIMCO products are developed.

Portfolio Analyst
Global Portfolio Analysts support an assigned "Global" Portfolio Manager and/or senior "Generalist" Portfolio Manager in the trade room. Portfolio Analysts must build solid internal relationships and partnerships with Portfolio Management and Account Management across the firm's Global Offices. Additionally, the role frequently interacts with Product Management, Legal and Compliance and Operations. Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: building portfolio summaries, monitoring portfolios, performance and attribution analysis, creating reports for risk monitoring, monitoring position weights and product versus client guidelines.

Cash Desk Analyst
The Cash Desk is responsible for managing cash in client accounts. The team works closely with the Portfolio Management group to determine cash needs and either invests excess cash or raises cash to facilitate purchases. A Cash Desk Analyst's responsibilities include: assist in the administration of the cash management process throughout each day; generate and analyze daily management and audit reports; and review ways to automate and enhance the current management process. The role frequently works with clients, account managers and the portfolio management group regarding client directed cash contributions and withdrawals. Additionally, an analyst works with Short Term traders to invest excess cash or raise cash and with Custodians and the Accounting group in reconciling cash balances and resolving discrepancies.

Marketing Analyst
Marketing partners with client management, product management, Executive Office and other areas of the business to develop client servicing, marketing, educational content and campaigns for U.S. and non-U.S., institutional and retail audiences. Marketing analysts contribute to the strategic design and development of content and programs to develop marketing programs that consistently reflect PIMCO's brand and client service standards. The marketing summer analyst will be expected to extract and analyze data from a variety of internal and external sources including digital and social media to strategically position and maximize the effectiveness of PIMCO's content marketing platforms.

EMEA Internal Sales Analyst
The primary role of the Internal Sales Analyst is to work closely with the senior Global Wealth Management (GWM) Account Managers to offer overall support. The analyst will provide product information and sales support to clients and prospects in the GWM channel, as well as manage and build relationships with private bankers, financial advisors and other financial intermediaries. An Internal Sales Analyst should be able to work in a challenging environment, handle multiple tasks, as well as coordinate efficiently amongst other departments and functions. While executing on the initial responsibilities, analysts will learn the PIMCO process, products and procedures. This position provides excellent development and training to set up for a career as an EMEA Internal Sales Associate at PIMCO.
