The frameworks my team has constructed in the last five years is enabling PIMCO to execute, analyze and maintain trading processes more effectively. I greatly enjoy applying my Software Engineer technical skills and analytical abilities to analyze and improve existing processes. I find great satisfaction when I am able to find new methods and technologies to come up with improved solutions for challenging problems. Improvements and added functionalities to the Automated Compliance Engine, allowed automation of numerous manual checks done by Trade and Portfolio Compliance teams. These functionalities greatly reduced time required to oversee compliance of trades and portfolios. Working at PIMCO Technology means a great opportunity to constantly learn and challenge yourself. I work on PIMCO’s Machine Learning related projects, which provides me with the opportunity to be able to contribute to a quickly developing field. The fact that there is so much attention on it these days is exciting because I feel like all of the cutting-edge academic research being conducted currently can be immediately applied here. I joined PIMCO because I felt it offered me the best chance to grow and develop my career.
