Mr. Barnum is a vice president and account manager in the Newport Beach office, focusing on portfolio strategy and investment solutions for insurance companies within the financial institutions group. Prior to his current role, he was a product strategist focusing on global and core fixed income strategies. Earlier in his career as a product associate, he specialized in portfolio alpha and systematic equity strategies. He joined PIMCO in 2007 and has 19 years of investment experience. He holds an MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine, and an undergraduate degree from Harvard University.
