Christine Long
Head of Retirement Marketing
Ms. Long is an executive vice president and head of retirement marketing in the New York office. She is responsible for partnering with institutional and retail distribution channels and product strategy teams to develop strategic marketing initiatives and programs. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2012, she held the role of second vice president at Guardian Life Insurance Company, where she led the marketing efforts for their 401(k), individual annuities, and RS mutual funds businesses. Ms. Long was also with AllianceBernstein as a director in the retail marketing division and with AXA Distributors as vice president of strategic relationship marketing. She also spent many years as a senior marketing professional within Citigroup companies, including Travelers Life & Annuity and Smith Barney. She has 29 years of investment and financial services experience and holds an undergraduate degree from Manhattanville College in Purchase, N.Y.
