Antonese: I love the fact that PIMCO really encourages the Purpose at PIMCO. It's the bridge between being located in a community, versus being an active participant within a community, and to me that is really important.

Cristina: This is why PIMCO organizes a lot of activity alongside the community where we are based.

Chloe: There are a number of opportunities throughout the year. Every month, we all receive an email with volunteer opportunities for that month. And then there are regular activities, like Share the Harvest, where PIMCO employees come together to pack boxes of food for those in need during the holidays.

Iggy: Around September or so I start getting asked the question from both of my daughters, "When is Share the Harvest? What are we doing this year?” Having that opportunity to share that with my family, that's really important.

Gaya: Purpose at PIMCO runs this Global Week of Volunteering, which happens every year.

Chloe: For one week around the world, PIMCO employees are spending their time volunteering in their communities.

Iggy: Every year I try to pick a different charity that I want to be a part of and help. Over the years I've worked with different organizations that focus on different initiatives.

Antonese: I was able to go to a local community in Santa Ana and help serve dinner to, I think, it was 120 people within the community.

Steven: There's Children's Hospital of Orange County. We got to build them wagons and give them toys and decorate their rooms.

Cristina: We don’t work in silos. We work as part of a community and we want to give back.

Antonese: We also do mentorship programs with high schools where we bring them in. We're really trying to encourage people to have financial literacy and help them grow. To be a part of that, I think, is one thing that really makes PIMCO stand out.
