Carlo Micali
Account Manager
Mr. Micali is an executive vice president and account manager in the London office, where he heads the U.K. and Ireland institutional team. Previously at PIMCO, he was a senior member of the U.S. institutional corporate client practice in the Newport Beach office, and he partnered with the insurance team for the variable annuities and subadvisory businesses. Before that, he worked in the Munich office, where he held roles as head of the Italian institutional and insurance markets and as an account manager advising institutional clients across Central, Southern, and Eastern Europe. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2006, he was a management consultant servicing clients within the financial services industry at Accenture in Italy. He has 19 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine. Mr. Micali also holds an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Turin in Italy.
