Mr. Gelb is a senior vice president and solutions strategist in the Newport Beach office. He focuses on asset allocation and customized client portfolio solutions. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2019, Mr. Gelb worked in portfolio management for PAAMCO, specializing in hedge fund manager due diligence and portfolio construction. Previously, he was an investment consultant for Cambridge Associates, where he advised institutional investors on asset allocation and investment manager selection. He has 12 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He received an undergraduate degree in economics from Dartmouth College.
