Seema Murali
Investment Grade Credit Research Analyst, PIMCO Municipals
Ms. Murali is a vice president and investment grade credit research analyst for PIMCO Municipals in the San Diego office. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2021, she was a vice president in the investment research and strategy department at Gurtin Municipal Bond Management, a PIMCO company, where she provided fundamental credit research analysis and ongoing surveillance across municipal bond sectors, including state and local governments and higher education. Previously, Ms. Murali worked for the Civic Federation, where she was responsible for public finance research and budgetary analysis of Chicago-area governments. She has 17 years of investment experience and holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Southern California. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan.
