Shisheng Qu
Financial Engineer, Corporate Credit
Dr. Qu is an executive vice president and financial engineer in the Newport Beach office, focusing on corporate credit modeling. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2011, he was a research director at Moody's KMV, modeling default risk of public companies and commercial banks. Previously, he worked in the International Finance Department of China Development Bank. He has 24 years of investment experience and holds a Ph.D. in computational mechanics from Tsinghua University. He also studied in the finance Ph.D. program the University of Texas at Austin.
