PIMCO Announces 2026 Managing Directors

Newport Beach, California (March 10, 2026) – PIMCO, a global leader in active fixed income with deep expertise across public and private markets, is pleased to share the promotion of the officers of the firm to Managing Director.

By cultivating a diverse group of leaders, we aim to create lasting value for our clients’ investments, our firm, and the next generation of talent,”said PIMCO Chief Executive Officer Emmanuel Roman and PIMCO Group Chief Investment Officer Daniel Ivascyn.

The following officers have been promoted to Managing Director with these objectives in mind: 

Adam Bowe

Mr. Bowe is a managing director and head of Australia portfolio management. He is a permanent member of the Asia-Pacific Portfolio Committee. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2011, he was responsible for global macro research and trading at Tudor Investment Corporation. He was also previously a director and portfolio manager at UBS Global Asset Management and at Queensland Investment Corporation. He has 23 years of investment experience and holds a master's degree in quantitative finance from University of Technology, Sydney. He also earned a Bachelor of Commerce, First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland.

Amit Arora

Mr. Arora is a managing director in the Newport Beach office and a senior member of PIMCO’s Global Investment Grade team, LDI and Bank Capital Portfolio Management team. He is also the head of US Investment Grade Credit trading and manages a diverse set of US Investment Grade, Bank capital and LDI portfolios, serving as portfolio manager for the last 15 years. He was previously a senior member of PIMCO's global risk management team. Mr. Arora has extensive previous experience prior to joining PIMCO in 2009, including as an executive director, responsible for credit hybrids and exotics trading at J.P. Morgan and at Bear Stearns as a managing director on the structured credit trading desk. He began his investment career on the foreign exchange Treasury desk at Citibank. He has 27 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay). He is a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and a CFA charterholder.

Marcio Bogoricin

Mr. Bogoricin is a managing director and head of the global wealth management business in Asia ex Japan. In this role, he leads a team across the region that focuses on developing investment solutions for private banks, retail banks, online platforms, and family offices. Previously, he was an account manager in the Singapore office, focusing on client servicing and business development in Hong Kong and Singapore. He also worked as an account manager in Latin America based in PIMCO’s Brazil office and as an account associate in New York. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2010, Mr. Bogoricin was an associate director at UBS New York, working with large family offices to develop asset allocation solutions and trading strategies. He has 18 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from London Business School, where he participated in an exchange program with Hong Kong University. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and supply chain management from Penn State University.

Mariko Boswell

Ms. Boswell is a managing director and co-head of PIMCO’s Austin office, and she oversees the U.S. nonprofit team, responsible for the coverage of endowments, foundations, and healthcare institutions. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2009, she worked as an equity research associate on the energy team at Credit Suisse and as a senior associate covering utilities in the corporate finance group at Moody’s Investors Service. She is a member of the board of directors of the YMCA of Austin and the Texas Alternatives Investments Association. She also serves on the University of Texas McCombs Master of Science in Finance Advisory Council. She has 19 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business as well as an undergraduate degree from Yale University.

Matt Dorsten

Mr. Dorsten is a managing director in the Newport Beach office and leads PIMCO’s quantitative portfolio management group. He is the lead portfolio manager for PIMCO’s range of quantitative alternative strategies. He was previously a member of the analytics group working on mortgage-backed securities and event-linked bonds. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2006, he received his Ph.D. in theoretical particle physics from the California Institute of Technology, where he was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. He has 19 years of investment experience and holds undergraduate degrees in mathematics and physics from Ohio State University.

Niranjan Nagwekar

Mr. Nagwekar is a managing director and portfolio manager in the Newport Beach office, focusing on cross asset volatility and relative value trading strategies. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2019, he was a vice president in interest rate derivatives trading at Goldman Sachs. Previously, he held roles trading U.S. vanilla and exotic interest rates at Credit Suisse. He has 12 years of investment experience and holds a master's degree in operations research from Columbia University. He received an undergraduate degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Patrice Denis

Mr. Denis is a managing director, co-head of PIMCO Canada, and head of the Canadian institutional team. Based in Montreal, he is responsible for setting strategic direction for Canada and leading a team of PIMCO professionals to deliver innovative investment solutions and best-in-class service to Canadian institutional investors. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2010, he was head of Canadian distribution for State Street Global Advisors, where he led a team responsible for business development and client servicing in the marketplace. Previously, he worked at Mercer in Toronto, Calgary, and Montreal as a pension and investment analyst. He has 27 years of investment experience and holds a bachelor's degree in actuarial sciences from the University of Western Ontario. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
