Gráinne McEvoy

Head of PIMCO Ireland
Ms. McEvoy is an executive vice president and head of PIMCO Ireland. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2022, she was the director of consumer protection at the Central Bank of Ireland since 2018. In over two decades at the central bank, she also chaired the European supervisory authorities sub-committee on consumer protection and financial innovation, served as acting director of the securities and markets supervision directorate, and served as head of securities and markets supervision. In these roles she was responsible for investment funds policy, regulation of investment funds and fund service providers, representing the central bank in various organizations and initiatives, and monitoring and surveillance of primary and secondary market trading. She has 28 years of investment and financial services experience and holds a master’s degree in investment and treasury from Dublin City University and a bachelor's of commerce degree from University College Dublin.
