Matthew Appenfelder

Account Manager

Mr. Appenfelder is an executive vice president in the Newport Beach office and head of the U.S. annuity channel, including client servicing and business development. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2011, he worked at Skrimshaw Investment Management, a global macro hedge fund, where he was responsible for portfolio management, marketing and back office support. He has 15 years of investment and financial services experience and holds an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received an undergraduate degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
