The graphic shows two charts. The bar chart on the left, which represents cash, is subtitled Securitization structure protects senior tranches as lower tranches absorb first losses. More than two-thirds of the chart shows the highest rated senior tranches (shaded blue) with ratings of AAA (Duper) with the greatest protection. The next highest rating of AAA (Jr.) is shown in green with the second highest protection, followed by AA, A, BB, B and NR. The chart on the right is subtitled … but lower tranches are compensated for taking additional risk. This chart shows yield to worst maturity (YTM), with the highest rated AAA, Junior AAA, AA, and A with the lowest yields. The lowest rated BBB, BB and B show the highest expected YTM.
