Anshul A. Shah

Mr. Shah is an executive vice president and senior member of PIMCO's executive office, responsible for strategic initiatives. He is also a strategist in the client solutions and analytics group, advising and developing solutions for insurance company clients. Previously, he led the firm’s client solutions effort for institutional clients in the Americas, and he led the product development and buildout of the firm’s managed volatility and quantitative index businesses. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2011, he was a management consultant at Oliver Wyman, focusing on financial institutions. He has 17 years of investment and financial services experience. Mr. Shah holds an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, as well as a master's and bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from Harvard University.
