Christian Clayton
Head of Alternatives for U.S. Wealth
Mr. Clayton is an executive vice president and head of alternatives for PIMCO’s U.S. global wealth management group. As part of this role, he leads sales, national accounts, and strategy for PIMCO’s U.S. wealth alternatives platform. Previously, he led the private strategies platform in the Americas, responsible for corporate, asset-based, multi-asset public and private credit, and tax-efficient strategies. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2014, he worked in the investment banking division at Citigroup in Hong Kong. He holds an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in East Asian Studies from Columbia University. Mr. Clayton received an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University.
