Christian Clayton
Strategist
Mr. Clayton is an executive vice president and strategist in the Newport Beach office. He leads product strategy for PIMCO’s global wealth alternatives platform, responsible for credit, real estate, private lending, and tax-efficient credit strategies. He also focuses on credit alternatives for institutional clients. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2014, he worked in the investment banking division at Citigroup in Hong Kong. He holds an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in East Asian Studies from Columbia University. Mr. Clayton received an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University.
