Krishnamoorthy Narasimhan
Portfolio Manager, Alternative Assets
Mr. Narasimhan is an executive vice president and portfolio manager in the Newport Beach office, responsible for sourcing, underwriting and managing alternative asset investments. Previously, he led the portfolio management asset expert group in PIMCO's advisory business. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2010, he was the head of esoteric asset valuation in the credit advisory group of Fitch Solutions. Mr. Narasimhan also worked as a strategist at J.P. Morgan and in the quantitative financial research group at Fitch Ratings. He was also an adjunct professor at The University of California - Irvine, Baruch College and the University of Maryland and was on the faculty of the finance department at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has authored several publications on modeling credit risk across a variety of asset classes. He has 26 years of investment experience and holds a Ph.D. in finance from Duke University.
