He focuses on liability-driven investments, asset allocation and asset-liability management strategies for pension funds and insurance companies. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2009, he was with Towers Perrin, where he was responsible for actuarial valuations, stochastic funding forecasts and asset-liability studies. He has 13 years of investment experience and holds an undergraduate degree in actuarial science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in financial engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
