Luis Otavio Oliveira

Mr. Oliveira is an executive vice president in the São Paulo office, responsible for business development in Latin America. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2012, he held positions in business development at Itaú Asset Management and ABN Amro Asset Management. Previously, he worked at Votorantim Asset Management, first in the market risk department and later on the offshore fund-of-funds team. Mr. Oliveira also worked on the design of hydroelectric power plants in Brazil for four years. He has 20 years of investment experience and holds bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo.
